Due to a reporting error, in last week’s cover story ["Trending Blue"], State Senator Emmett W. Hanger, Jr. was listed as an independent instead of a Republican. While many Republicans campaigned against Hanger during the primary season this year and supported more conservative challenger Scott Sayre, Hanger still won the nomination and has yet to be disowned from his party.
