UPDATE May 9: Rutherford says “Did so” while Albemarle denies allegations on “Virginity Rocks” t-shirts

Albemarle School officials “vigorously” deny that teenage girls who wore “Virginity Rocks” t-shirts to school were ordered to change their shirts or turn them inside-out. Yesterday, Rutherford Institute attorneys sent a letter to Albemarle superintendent Pam Moran alleging that the girls were instructed to change or reverse their shirts and warning that the schools could face legal action. This morning, Rutherford says that while the school principal may have approved the t-shirts, “the message still has not trickled down to other school employees.”
