Virginia Baseball has earned one of 16 Regional Host Sites with the #5 overall National seed

The four-team, double-elimination tournament will run June 4-7 at UVa’s Davenport Field. Two games each will be played Friday (June 4), Saturday (June 5) and Sunday (June 6). If necessary, a single game will be played Monday (June 7). Game times will be announced Monday.

Comedienne Tracey Ullman to address new citizens at Monticello

Ullman joins a long list of naturalization ceremony speakers from the arts and politics, from Madeleine Albright and Andrew Young to I.M. Pei and, two years ago, President George W. Bush





Ullman became a naturalized citizen in 2006, in order to be able to vote, after 25 years of living in the United States.

Hoos Lax meets arch-nemesis Duke Saturday in NCAA semifinals Game-time is 6:30 ESPN II(HD)

This will be the third time Virginia plays Duke in the 2010 season. Virginia is 1-1 versus the Blue Devils this season. UVA is the top seed in the Tournament.

Duke beats Virginia 14-13 in NCAA Lax Semi-finals

Virginia looked out of sorts several times in the game as the Blue Devils simply out played Virginia’s excellent goalie Adam Ghitelman. Virginia’s season comes to an end Saturday night in Baltimore.
