"Urban farm" comes to Friendship Court

It won’t be a long haul to the City Market. On May 31, children helped break ground on an “urban farm” in the field beside Friendship Court, the housing complex just to the south of the Downtown Mall. The Urban Agriculture Project, funded by the Blue Moon Fund, is hoping to get local organic food out into the wider community, making it affordable for many.
