![]() A new book says point, click and color your world. |
We recently got an eyeful courtesy of Sally Fretwell, an architectural psychologist (how ’bout that job title?) who until recently lived in Charlottesville and has just published a book called The Power of Color. Filled with photos of tropical fish, Venetian canals and showy flowers, the book amounts to a promotion for Fretwell’s new line of eco-friendly paints. But it does propose an interesting technique for choosing paint colors: Find a shade you like in a digital photo, then isolate it with Photoshop. Fretwell’s book is available at www.sallyfretwell.com—or just surf the Web for inspiring hues.
