Months after the November announcement that Daniel P. Jordan, the 24-year veteran and chief executive of Monticello’s governing body, would retire, a press release from the Thomas Jefferson Foundation has announced that Leslie Greene Bowman will take over on November 1 of this year. Bowman’s appointment is timed to coincide with the opening of the 42,000 square foot, $55 million Thomas Jefferson Visitor Center and Smith Education Center.

Les Yeux du Monde, the Water Street art gallery owned and directed by Lyn Warren, will vacate its space on June 30.
