Tom Perriello congratulates Governor elect Bob McDonnell

According to the Virginia State Board of Elections, with 99.7 percent of precincts reporting, McDonnell won 1,157,672 votes (58.64 percent) against Democratic candidate Creigh Deeds’ 814,032 votes (41.23 percent).
