Today marks the 45th anniversary of Beatlemania—largely seen as the most popular of all rock band manias, beating out the likes of Echo and the Bunnymania and even Bananaramania. But on this day in history, perhaps a major one in our development as celebrity obsessed fanatics, it’s important to remember that the Beatles were people, too—not simply celebrities playing the part:
