Republican presidential hopeful John McCain and his running mate Sarah Palin are coming to Virginia next Monday, October 13.
McCain and Palin will hold a rally at 10 am in Virginia Beach at the convention center. Palin will hold a “Road to Victory” rally in Richmond at the Arthur Ashe Center at 1pm, according to the campaign website.
A new poll by Suffolk University shows Barack Obama ahead in Virginia 51 percent to McCain’s 39.
The Washington Post’s columnist Tim Craig reports that the “poll’s sample skews heavily toward the Democrats, which may be inflating Obama’s margin.”
A Mason Dixon poll last week showed McCain leading Obama by 3 points.
John McCain will face off opponent Barack Obama in the second presidential debate tonight at 7pm from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee moderated by NBC’s Tom Brokaw.
