Floating underneath the blazing highbeams that focus on the revenue sports, the UVA swimming teams have been lighting up the scoreboard this season. Under the helm of coach Mark Bernardino (below) the women’s swim team captured its second consecutive ACC title on February 21, while the men’s team won its 10th title in the past 11 years on February 28. Overall, Bernardino has captured 12 men’s and seven women’s ACC titles. The Cavaliers next head to the NCAA regionals.
