A story we ran two weeks ago on a General Assembly bill that would require state universities to report annually on “academic freedom” won’t go away. Last week, we left off a crucial modifier to a group that’s behind that bill: “Faculty Senate” should have specified “of Virginia,” as to avoid confusion with the Faculty Senate of the University of Virginia, which has no position on the bill.
