Virginia and Georgia Tech Tip-Off at 7
The Hoos open up their 2010 home ACC schedule against AP #20 Georgia Tech tonight at the John Paul Jones Arena. The game will be televised by the half-wits at ESPNU. Virginia is fresh off an extremely rare ACC road win against NC State, and is looking to keep their five game win streak going. Man, it’s been a really long time since my Wahoos started the ACC schedule 2-0!
Georgia Tech is a strong and athletic team that has had no trouble getting top 100 recruits to commit to the program, but keeps losing them to the NBA before they reach their last two years of college. If Tech does not have a strong showing this year in conference, and then in the NCAA tournament, well look for Paul Hewitt to finally be shown the door in Atlanta.
