UPDATE Pre-Game UVA-Maryland, Cold Rainy, Yuck… College Park

It’s a wet and miserable day (46 degrees and rainy) here in the unfriendly confines of Byrd Stadium. The first thing I noticed as I sat down in the Press Box, is that Maryland is the only Stadium in the ACC that charges the beat-writers for a meal. Lame…The Second thing I noticed, is the banner that says Maryland Coach Ralph Friedgen has lost 105 pounds. Interesting. Mikell Simpson is in uniform, and looks like he could play today. Stay tune to C-Ville for updates at half-time, and post-game. I have changed my pre-game opinion of the final score, and have Virginia still winning, but with a final score of 28-17. Go Hoos, beat the couch-burners.
