In folky tracks reminiscent of the classics that emerged from the Topanga Canyon scene in the ’60s and ’70s, and peppier tunes that draw from honky-tonk and Western stylings, the artist channels vintage sounds through intimate, narrative-driven lyrics and arrangements.
