Well, it’s finally official. Billboard.com reports today that Radiohead has signed with Coran Capshaw and Dave Matthews’ ATO Records for the physical release of their seventh album, In Rainbows. As C-VILLE reported on October 5, Capshaw’s camp was a likely choice for the English band, who self-released the new album via the Internet on October 10 for whatever price fans wanted to pay. The choice of label was likely related to ATO’s acquisition of Phil Costello, a former senior VP at Capitol Records, Radiohead’s previous home.

XL Recordings will release In Rainbows on December 31 in the U.K., while TBD Records, a new imprint that the band has created through ATO, will release the album stateside on January 2. Of course, if you can’t wait until then, In Rainbows is still available for whatever price you deem fit from inrainbows.com.
