A suspect has been arrested in the Wachovia bank robbery that happened last Tuesday, November 17.
NBC29 reports that Garland Thomas Carr, 27, has been charged with robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, being armed with the intent to commit larceny while entering a bank, and four counts of forgery.
As for the second robbery that happened on Friday at the BB&T Bank on Pantops, the Newsplex is reporting that 32-year-old Joseph Breeden of Gordonsville was taken into custody.
