Straight Punch to the Crotch debuts “When Animals Attack” video!

Through a series of terrifying and/or humiliating trials I’d rather not disclose here, I’ve obtained a copy of the first official music video by local power-pop act Straight Punch to the Crotch. Questions like How? and Are you O.K.? aren’t important; they pale in comparison to the perils you are about to witness.

Directed by Gabe DeLoach, the video for "When Animals Attack" is fraught with danger, from a dapper werewolf to a moment at the 1:20 mark when singer Gene Osborn nearly lights his handsome mug on fire. But there’s also lightness, from a Sasquatch homage to bassist Zach Snider in eyeliner and antlers to a full-body St. Bernard costume. (And, no, it’s not a rental.)

In short, it’s everything we’ve come to crave from Straight Punch to the Crotch. Yet it’s beyond your blogger’s wildest expectation. Tread lightly; here there be monsters:
