When it rains, it pours—even inside UVA’s centerpiece, the Rotunda, which is currently struggling with a leaky roof. UVA asked for state funds to help fix a few holes where the rain gets in as part of a $50 million renovation project for the iconic building. UVA hoped to launch the renovation with $2.59 million in state funds, matched by $2 million in private contributions.
