Motorists, beware: A new traffic signal is coming to Route 250 between Richmond Road and Glenmore Way (Route 1054). The signal will be activated at 10am tomorrow, but will begin to be formally operational on Monday, June 21.
According to a news release from the Virginia Department of Transportation, the new signal was installed because of data collected from traffic patterns and crashes. "The signal will increase safety at the intersection, particularly for motorists turning onto Route 250 from Route 1054," reads the release.
