There will be a memorial gathering for friends and family of Tim Davis from 5-7pm tonight on the patio behind WNRN at 2250 Old Ivy Road. Many might only know Davis as DJ Prolapse, the WNRN DJ who hosted "The Boombox" hip-hop show from 10pm to midnight on weeknights. He was one of two apparently random targets of a shooting last Monday on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Davis died of his injuries on Friday at the UVA Medical Center. He was 27 years old. The other victim, 18-year-old Christina Floyd, was in fair condition late last week. Visit WNRN’s website for more details.
