McAuliffe broadcasts first TV ad

It’s only January and Terry McAuliffe has already thrown the first punch. McAuliffe, who just this month officially announced his intention to run for governor, is broadcasting the first TV ad in this year’s gubernatorial race.

The 30-second ad, called “Listened,” airs in Hampton Roads and focuses on job creation.
"It goes to show the best ideas don’t always come out of Richmond," McAuliffe said.

McAuliffe’s campaign said this ad will be followed by more soon. Earlier this month, McAuliffe reportedly led among the Democrats running for Governor—Senator Creigh Deeds and state Delegate Brian Moran.
