Taybronne White, a 26-year-old convicted felon sought in connection to a Greene County triple slaying, turned himself in yesterday to Charlottesville police. White has not been charged in the deaths of three local residents, but faces multiple firearms and robbery charges tied to a Greene County home invasion last week.
White was identified as a person of interest by Greene County police last week after law enforcement responded to a 911 call and found the bodies of Dustin Knighton, Brian Robert Lee Daniels, and Lisa Hwang on Octonia Road in Orange, Virginia. Hours later, Albemarle Police found an abandoned car on Old Brook Road; investigators later said that the victims were inside the car when they were shot. NBC29 reports that White is cooperating with law enforcement, and is slated for a bond hearing on Wednesday at the Greene County General District Court.
