Just wanted to congratulate Eric [Rezsnyak] and you on one of the best articles I’ve read to date on Chris [Daughtry] [“The once and future idol,” April 3]. I am not a typical Chris fan—going on 62, mother of four grown children, grandmother of three. However, I was raised in Detroit in the ‘60s and have loved good music (all kinds—but especially rock) ever since. The first time I saw Chris on American Idol, I felt like my old acquaintance Bob Seger was in my living room. It’s nice when dreams come true—and even nicer when the dreamer stays real.
