Besides learning the riff to "Stash" and working at a coffee shop with a girl who was way into these Vermonters (and—never got this one, either—Two Skinnee J’s), I’ve spent as much time listening to Phish as most people spend truly laughing at Dane Cook’s standup. So, with news of Phish’s upcoming tour stop at John Paul Jones Arena, I thought I’d leave it to the experts. Even the newly minted ones.
Carrie Brownstein, who runs the always enjoyable Monitor Mix blog at NPR, tasked herself with becoming a Phish fan in July. And while all her updates are worth a glimpse, I particularly enjoyed this video meetup with Phish fans:
