Garrison Keillor is coming to the Charlottesville Pavilion

O Minnesota! Home to the Mayo Clinic and 10,000 lakes, where mild-mannered people, many of German descent, recognize no higher authority than Al Franken! One of that state’s most famous exports and radio’s most recognizable faces, Garrison Keillor, is bringing his "Prairie Home Companion: Summer Love" tour through the Charlottesville Pavilion on September 12.

According to a release, the show will focus on the "everlasting theme of romantic love" and "will be jam-packed with tender duets and ballads, poetry (Poe, Shakespeare, Anonymous), and stories of passion and marriage." Keillor will also join the audience during intermission for a singalong of "Unchained Melody."

The Pavilion stop is the last on a 25-city tour. No word yet on ticket on-sale dates and prices.
