Former Cavalier makes his second Super Bowl

The Pittsburgh Steelers are on their way to their second Super Bowl in the past four years. And what’s it have to do with Charlottesville? No. 83 of course: 6’5’’ tight end Heath Miller, who made a name for himself playing for Al Groh at UVA.

Miller had three receptions for 62 yards, second to only wide receiver Santonio Holmes, in Pittsburgh’s 23-14 win over the Baltimore Ravens. For the year, Miller scored three touchdowns and had 514 yards receiving.

The Steelers face the Arizona Cardinals in the Super Bowl on February 1 in Tampa, Florida. Miller won his first ring in 2006, when the Steelers beat the Seattle Seahawks in the Super Bowl.
