Ernie & Emma at Alamo Drafthouse 9/25

B-movie badass and cameo crusader Bruce Campbell comes to town for a screening of his latest film Ernie & Emma. Veering away from the actor’s standard roles as a genre-film darling, the road-trip dramedy—written and directed by, and starring Campbell—tracks widowed pear salesman Ernie Tyler as he treks across Oregon to scatter his late wife’s ashes. The screening and accompanying Q&A highlight Campbell’s penchant for earnest storytelling and embodying everyman characters. $17.75, 7pm and 10:15pm.
