At the September 2008 retreat, City Council identified priorities that needed to be discussed and focused for the next year. Included was the plan to address race relations in the community. City Assistant Manager Maurice Jones was charged with developing a concrete city-wide plan for a sustainable dialogue on race.
Some residents, however, were not satisfied with the city’s respose.
