So far, we haven’t seen any large-scale shift in American energy habits (the closest I’ve noticed are the stats about many drivers cutting down on their gas usage). But little changes are making news, like these two recent items about renewable energy coming to our area.

In a statement released today, Perriello, Democratic candidate for the Virginia’s Fifth Congressional District, slammed opponent and incumbent Virgil Goode for the current economic crisis, more specifically the news of Lehman Brothers filing for bankruptcy and the imminent sale of Merrill Lynch to Bank of America.

The World is Watching… and Scratching Its Head

Would’ve posted earlier, but Mr. Slowpoke insisted that I watch “Cube Zero” with him, the final installment of “The Cube” trilogy. The films are about, well, being stuck in a cube with no way out — a fairly apt metaphor for how I feel about our American politics sometimes.
