It’s been five months since Satellite Ballroom closed, yet the Facebook group, “Coran Capshaw, Save Satellite Ballroom!” still has 1,000 members, says Cavalier Daily columnist Isaac Wood, which just shows how urgently Charlottesville needs a mid-sized music venue. Wood’s solution: Get the University Programs Council (UPC) involved.

I am sorry to report that I have not yet received my McCain robocall informing me of Obama’s terrorist-lovin’ ways. In the leadup to the Virginia primary several months ago, Mr. McCain contacted me twice, robotically, to tell me that he is a proud Republican in the mold of Ronald Reagan (heavy emphasis on the mold).
