Carpe Donut to open brick and mortar store

Time to move the donuts! Carpe Donut owner Matt Rohdie reports that, come November 15, the company will open a brick and mortar store for its all-natural treats. After doubling its event-based business over the last year, Rohdie says they can no longer keep up with wholesale orders. Opening a store will give him an opportunity to hire employees and meet the high demand he’s been keeping up with on his own.

The new space will be located at 1715 Allied St., in McIntire Plaza, and the store will share space with Wahoo Ridge Catering. The two businesses plan to offer a takeaway breakfast six days a week. Check next Tuesday’s C-VILLE for more on Rohdie’s plans.
