PVCC’s Visual Arts Department ushers in the longest nights of the year with its illuminating December tradition Let There Be Light. For one night only, curator James Yates and a slew of local artists will show their outdoor exhibit on the grounds surrounding the V. Earl Dickinson Building. The eighth installment of the winter gala includes “Shadowland,” an interactive world of shadows by PVCC art professor Fenella Belle, “Painting with Light,” an audience participation event using unique light tools created by Peabody School students, and a number of other eye-catching installations.
Friday 12/12. Free, 6pm. PVCC, V. Earl Dickinson Bldg., 501 College Dr. 977-6918.
