A stellar roster of local musicians joins the Albemarle High School Jazz Ensemble for its annual Swing Into Spring benefit concert, an evening of standards, pop, and R&B favorites. The award-winning band, under the direction of Andrew LaPrade, is joined by John D’earth, Charles Owens, Greg Thomas, Jay Pun, Morwenna Lasko, Taylor Barnett, Bobby Gregg, Malik Poindexter, and others. The show benefits ReadyKids, which provides counseling, support, and early learning opportunities for children and families in central Virginia.
