As of 1pm, 49.9 percent of registered voters have voted in Albemarle County, reports the Albemarle County Department of Voter Registration and Elections, a total of 33,613 people.
This number, however, does not include absentee ballots. As of this morning at 11am, 6,811 people voted absentee by mail or in person, bringing the total voter turnout to 60 percent.
