How you feeling, Jam Dogg?

Since the launch of the Feedback blog, some colleagues have taken to addressing me by the name "B Dog," or occasionally "B Money." As is the case with Kanye West’s blog posts, there does not seem to be any rhyme or reason for this behavior.

However, news editor Will Goldsmith—who is known to answer the question "How are you?" with "In mansions and Benzes/ Giving ends to my friends/ and it feels stupendous"—took it on himself to share the link for the Rap Star Name Generator with me. I may not be a "B Money," but I can live with "Jam Dogg." (The name "Feedback" was rechristened "M.C. One." Lame.)

The Rap Star Name Generator reminded me of another website called Gizoogle. I won’t discuss hip-hop semantics here, and can’t speak to why the people behind Gizoogle chose to use the words they did. However, running things like Will’s coverage of land use taxation in the county through Gizoogle makes for some fun. For instance, the caption under the picture of County Supervisor Sally Thomas identifies her as "Supervizzle S-A-Double-Lizzy Thomas." The story is re-headlined as "Few changes fo’ land use tax."
