ARTS Pick: The Secret Sisters

With the recent release of Put Your Needle Down, produced by T Bone Burnett, The Secret Sisters prove they’ve come a long way from their Alabama youth. The sweet-voiced siblings have managed to retain their innocence and charm following projects with big shots like She & Him, Ray Lamontagne, Paul Simon, and Elvis Costello, as well as a cut on The Hunger Games soundtrack.

Wednesday 10/15. $10-12, 7:30pm. The Southern Café and Music Hall, 103 S. First St. 977-5590.

If this kind of local, independent journalism matters to you, help keep it going. It costs $26,245 a week—$2.23 weekly per copy, or roughly $9.50 monthly per copy—to produce C-VILLE Weekly, including writers, designers, printing, and overhead. We suggest a recurring gift of $10 per month to help cover production costs, but any amount adds up to revenue we can count on. Click to give.
