High-budget bliss [November 19]

Today on inRich.com. a Richmond news site, local business owner Lynn Easton Andrews (of Easton Events) is profiled in a story about the ups and downs of being a wedding planner. According to the site, Andrews fell into the business after 25 years in TV production; she works with wedding budgets that start at $40,000 and go up from there. "A $40,000 budget barely cuts it," she says in the story, which also includes the requisite tale of disaster-averted-by-resourceful-planner (this one involved a blocked road and "as many tow trucks as I could find," says Andrews). In a sidebar, inRich also mentions that the average Virginia wedding costs $14,307 and includes 164 guests.
