UDPATE: According to Portsmouth police, Laura Pepe has been found. She was traveling to follow the band to Washington D.C.
A woman from Fauquier County went missing after a Phish concert in Portsmouth on Tuesday.
The Newsplex reports that Portsmouth police say Laura Pepe, 26, became separated from her friends, who traveled back to Fauquier County without her. Pepe has blonde hair and blue eyes. She is 5’10" and weighs 145 pounds.
According to Portsmouth police, Pepe was last seen wearing "a white halter top with a bathing suit underneath, khaki shorts, flip flops and small silver earrings." A photo is below.
Some reported details of Pepe’s disappearance are reminiscent of details surrounding that of Morgan Harrington, who disappeared the night of October 17, 2009, during a Metallica concert at the John Paul Jones Arena. Harrington’s remains were found on the grounds of an Albemarle farm in late January.
