Not all bands are created equal. Ditto the visual artists, dancers, actors, directors, writers, venues, creators and performers that make up our local arts scene. Sure, it’s nice to think that we might someday engineer the perfect music machine. Until then, we’re left in a world of constantly drawing comparisons among our always limited experiences as members of an audience.
But Charlottesville is a damned fine audience to be a part of. So I’d like to enlist your help. Post your personal highlights from the last year in local arts below.
