VQR wins a digital Ellie

The American Society of Magazine Editors recently gathered to distribute its annual awards, considered among the highest honors in the magazine publishing industry. The Virginia Quarterly Review won a Digital Ellie, for an interactive website launched earlier this year, "Assignment Afghanistan," comprised mostly of work by regular contributor and UVA alumni Elliott D. Woods. The website’s interface was designed by Jesse Dukes and Shea Shackelford, of Big Shed.
