Vineyard owner Eric Trump gives post-Kluge preview

In a short video posted to YouTube on July 1, Eric Trump explains how his business tycoon father, Donald, saw "such unbelievable potential" in the foreclosed Kluge Estate Winery and Vineyard. He also offers a few verbal and visual details about the work going on at the Trump Estate Vineyards.

"The best feeling is getting your feet on the ground, going in there, giving them the Trump touch," says Trump, 27. "Really sprucing them up, making them that much better.”

Trump the younger also appears to be overseeing the operations at the vineyard. An ABC license effective July 7 names Eric Trump Wine Manufacturing LLC as the licensed company. Trump has also (forgive us) trumpeted the family’s purchase on Twitter.

Trump says the company is updating bathrooms in the winery’s pavilion, where it was auctioned, as well as putting in new ceilings, chandeliers and a bar. And if the new owner seems in love with the place, well, we know what follows love: marriage.

“It will be used as a setting for thousands and thousands of weddings to come," says Trump of the winery. The property’s carriage museum will be “the biggest and best and nicest banquet facility anywhere in the area.”
