Taylor Swift returns to John Paul Jones Arena, my dreams [VIDEO]

Happy Monday to you. Today, your post-weekend update will be delivered according to hair color. Do blondes have more fun? Is there a redheaded stranger in your future? Darlin’, just don’t go and cut it. After the video:

  • Redhead: During a Saturday evening that involved a little table tennis and an excellent home-cooked meal, two albums hit a sweet spot—Eric Bachmann‘s To The Races, and Phosphorescent‘s To Willie. As it happens, Phosphorescent is in town at the Twisted Branch Tea Bazaar tonight. To Willie is a ramblin’ shambles of an album—11 Willie Nelson covers (or 10, considering that Merle Haggard wrote "Reasons to Quit"), many with the sort of approximate group choruses that cohere in a single melody, something that the Oldhams do well. "Can I Sleep In Your Arms" warms as well as the Tea Bazaar’s house darjeeling. (More from Passion of the Weiss.)

There you have it, people—hair today, gone tomorrow. What’d you hear about over the weekend?
