Spot o’ tea? Depending on the herbal ingredients, tea can have some delicious side effects.

*Sarsaparilla: It’s the flavor used in root beer, but its naturally occurring plant steroids also make it a remedy for skin conditions such as acne, eczema and psoriasis.

*Milk-thistle: This liver cleanser, when combined with peppermint, makes a great digestive aid and hangover cure.

*Cranberry: Tea from Thanksgiving’s favorite berry stimulates the liver and kidneys, and can help to clear UTIs.

*Ginger: Its warming effect soothes cold and flu, but its most beneficial trait is to help reduce nausea, including from morning sickness.

*Chamomile: Most commonly used for sleep, relaxation, and anxiety, it can be great for menstrual cramps.

*St. John’s Wort: This herb is touted as alleviating mild to moderate depression.
