The Waynesboro attack is the first of the five unsolved attacks to which Washington’s DNA has been linked, though he has yet to be charged for the motel assault.
A trial has been set for Washington in Albemarle County Circuit Court for December 10 at 10:30am. Washington has been charged in Albemarle with attempted rape, breaking and entering and attempted sodomy stemming from a 2004 sexual attack on Webland Drive.
