Sarah White and Jim Waive, live at the Beach Club

This week, C-VILLE has more music videos than MTV. (Perhaps you caught our Feedback Session with Birdlips?) And while there’s plenty elsewhere on the Internet for you to ogle with your Google-y eyes—hey, it’s David Berman!—I ask that you first feast your peepers on some footage from last Friday’s Full Moon Ball at Fry’s Spring Beach Club. Check it out:

First up, Sarah White and Ted Pitney with "Inside a Room." Then, Jim Waive and the Young Divorcees with "Old Dominion Girl" and original fiddler, Anna Matijasic!

Sure, the Beach Club kinda resembles a Cracker Barrel owned and operated by the Von Trapp family. Inside, however, it’s a fantastic concert space—all turquoise vinyl booths and plenty of dancing room. If you missed the Full Moon Ball, head out on December 23 to see Sons of Bill at Fry’s Spring with Monticello Road.

Also worth a mention: Sarah White and Ted Pitney have been performing a song together called "Happy," easily one of their finest tunes together. And while we don’t have footage of that tune, you might catch a note or two of it during tonight’s episode of "The Music Seen" on PBS.

We now return you to…the Von Trapp family.
