Over their heads?

A late UVA rally kept Virginia Tech’s 78-75 victory in Blacksburg from being a slam dunk, but a loss is still a loss. With conference play now in full swing, UVA men’s basketball team (7-6, 1-1 ACC) has to find some swagger to run with the fast-paced Tar Heels of North Carolina when they come to the JPJ Thursday. Of course, though UVA was picked to finish last in the ACC this year, the Cavaliers are improbably a full game up on a UNC squad that is 0-2 in ACC play.
