Virginia’s 2010 baseball season is now over and done. The Hoos ran into a buzz saw tonight in Charlottesville as the Oklahoma Sooners whipped Virginia 11-0. That’s 21 runs in two days for the Sooners.
The Wahoos starting pitcher Brandon Kilne only faced 10 batters as he gave up two early home-runs. The Oklahoma starting pitcher, Bobby Shore, was nearly perfect tonight as he struck out five in eight innings.
Oklahoma advances 2-1 to the College World Series where they will play South Carolina on Saturday.
