Our third Design Annual celebrates some of the local visionaries who remake what others discard into things that some treasure. Furniture, flooring, artwork, clothing—the limits of reuse are defined only by these folks’ imaginations. In other words, in this week’s cover story, sustainability is the mother of invention.
