Mike London’s football program at Virginia has been recognized by the American College Football Association for it’s outstanding graduation rate. This the 24th time since 1981 that the Hoos have been lauded for their graduation rate by the ACFA.
The award is given to schools graduating at least 75 percent of their student athletes in a six-year period. The Graduation Success Rate (GSR) is based on a six-year graduation window for student athletes.The GSR was developed by the NCAA as part of its academic reform initiative to more accurately assess the academic success of student-athletes. The GSR holds institutions accountable for transfer students, unlike the federal graduation rate. The GSR also accounts for midyear enrollees.
