It’s been talked about for a few weeks in Charlottesville, but on Tuesday Mike London made it official in naming former Virginia standout Marques Hagans to his staff as a graduate assistant.
UVA’s Spring football practice begins Wednesday morning at the ripe ole time of 6 in the morning, and now Virginia’s staff is complete with the addition of the 7th all-time leading passer in school history.
Hagans graduated from UVA in 2005 with a degree in anthropology, and while serving on London’s staff as a graduate assistant he will pursue a graduate degree in professional studies as soon as the next semester begins this summer.
‘Biscuit’, as he is known to his family and teammates, spent 3 years with the St. Louis Rams after graduating. Hagans also played for the Kansas City Chiefs, as well as the Washington Redskins.
Congrats Marques, both on your new gig, as well as your recent marriage to former UVA hoops player Lauren Swirtczek. Go Hoos!
